Quickstart

At the end you will have a subdomain like myapp.subdy.io that resolves to your server's IP from anywhere in the world.

1. Create an account

Sign up at subdy.io/signup — email and password, no card required. The Free plan includes 2 subdomains.

2. Create your subdomain

In the dashboard press + New subdomain:

1. Pick a name — availability is checked live as you type.
2. Enter your server's IPv4 or IPv6 address.
3. (Pro) Toggle issue wildcard certificate if you want TLS for *.myapp.subdy.io.

The subdomain goes active as soon as both nameservers confirm the zone push — normally within a second.

3. Check it resolves

dig +short myapp.subdy.io A
# 203.0.113.7

On Windows without dig: nslookup myapp.subdy.io.

4. Point your reverse proxy at it (optional)

A minimal Caddy (v2.8+) site — Caddy fetches its own certificate via HTTP-01 once DNS resolves:

myapp.subdy.io {
    reverse_proxy 127.0.0.1:3000
}
